We are excited to announce that “Sleep, Circadian Rhythms, and Aging: New Avenues for Improving Brain Health, Physical Health and Functioning,” the second in a series of a three-part U13 Bedside to Bench Conference, will be held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Bethesda, MD, from 4:30pm (ET) on October 4 to 1:15pm (ET) on October 6, 2015. The conference, sponsored by the National Institute on Aging and the American Geriatrics Society, will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about cutting edge research developments, participate in the creation of recommendations for future research, and to network with colleagues and leaders in the field. Additional support is being provided by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Pfizer, and Philips Respironics.
The application for the conference is now available and can be accessed here. Applications are due by June 1, 2015 and applicants will be notified if they are invited to participate by the end of July. Please review the following eligibility criteria before applying.
Faculty and research fellows who meet the following criteria are eligible to attend:
- At least 1-2 years of research experience in a related field.
- Hold an MD or PhD or equivalent degree.
- Have an academic appointment as a research fellow, instructor or faculty member.
